World Beyond the Song blends mystery and intimacy: the suspense of a silenced signal in deep space, and the ache of one woman’s grief as she learns to trust what she hears—and who she loves—again. The narrative threads through conspiracies and betrayals, yet remains anchored in the fragile beauty of connection, whether whispered across a room or pulsing through the stars.
The manuscript is in its early stages, with several chapters drafted and a long arc unfolding. The novel opens into a larger speculative architecture shaped by a central conviction: language is not ornament, but survival. Connection is not incidental. It is the path.

The return flight to Talamh Ru was … empty. Claire de Lune on repeat did little to steady her thoughts. Jayla tried to process the click data. She tried to process the event that wasn’t truly a Schlieren wave. But what pressed in was the loss. The void.
She didn’t know how to fill it. She didn’t want to fill it. After all, didn’t she deserve it?
The silence grew louder. It followed her as she paced the narrow cabin, each step heavier than the last. Grief rose without warning and would not release her.
She sank to the floor, breath unsteady, strength collapsing inward until she could do nothing but curl into herself—small against the vastness she had once believed she could navigate.
